Alastair Mant, Head of Industry Engagement at the UK Green Building Council, is giving the keynote speech on social and environmental sustainable building trends and the impact on occupiers.

Mant, who leads on UK-GBC’s membership and research programmes, is passionate about the built environment and its potential for creating a healthy society. 

Flora Mégret, Schneider Electric’s EMEA Real Estate Director will give a presentation on “New-build and retro-fit challenges”.  Mégret is a mechanical engineer by training, with significant experience in industrial process implementation and building project management. Her specific expertise is in the design of warehouses and logistics systems.

The two speakers will be joined in a panel discussion by Richard Jackson, Director, Sustainability at UCL since 2011 and  Avison Young’s Martin Rymer, a leading commercial property specialist and an active member of the UK Green Building Council. 

The event will conclude with roundtable debates, and the opportunity to network with other forum members over lunch and refreshments.
