Lumberjack Friday in the Avison Young Manchester Office

Avison Young’s Manchester office is holding a non-uniform day every Friday from the end of January and throughout February to raise money for the charity Ronald McDonald House.  Known as ‘Lumberjack Friday’, staff are encouraged to dress down but must include a lumberjack style shirt.

The charity was chosen in support of Steve Burne of AEW Architects, a business contact and friend of the Manchester team, who was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2017 and has been an active fund raiser for Ronald McDonald House for 15 years. The charity enables families to maintain a degree of normal life while their child is undergoing medical treatment in partnered specialist children's hospitals across the UK.
