Glasgow's focus is on the river

Pacific Quay development G51 promises contemporary offices for a city with its mind on the future.

Expresso Property announced that it has concluded missives for the acquisition of 1A Pacific Quay in Glasgow with Scottish Enterprise and is in the final stages of planning for a new high tech Grade A business hub on the city’s waterfront.

Designed by Holmes Miller, G51 will comprise 55,000 sq ft of Grade A, EPC A-rated, open plan office space, arranged across ground and three upper floors, and will target BREEAM excellent. With flexible floor plates throughout, the development will feature enhanced Wired Scored Platinum connectivity, 30 parking spaces and electric charging points, 44 cycle spaces, cycle lockers and showers as well as a bicycle repair station.

The surrounding area already houses major creative brands including BBC Scotland, STV, Capital Radio, Glasgow Science Centre and IMAX, as well as commercial offices for BIP Solutions, The hub Media and Digital Centre.
