Avison Young holds first Annual Conference for its combined UK offices

Over 100 Avison Young UK employees congregated in Manchester on 21st June for an Annual Conference to discuss the company’s UK operation and expansion plans.  This is the first time all the UK teams have had the opportunity to meet and collaborate en masse.

In addition to the UK business, Avison Young original partner and Principal Robin White flew in from Toronto, Hiren Thakar Principal and COO attended from Chicago, Parveen Sandhi Senior Global HR Manager from Toronto, and Managing Director of Germany Udo Stoeckl attended with Katharina Biermann and Inga Schwarz from the German offices.

Based at the prestigious Chetham’s School of Music in central Manchester, the conference included presentations, breakout discussions, a Q&A session, and awards.

UK Managing Director Jason Sibthorpe said “It was fantastic to bring the whole UK business together for the first time.  The energy, collaboration and ambition from everybody was both empowering and inspiring.”
