Avison Young supports Cineworld with re-opening programme
31 July 2020On 17 March 2020, Cineworld closed their doors for an undefined period of time. Overnight 102 sites were closed with all non-critical maintenance tasks cancelled.
After much anticipation and a lot of hard work, Avison Young is delighted to support Cineworld in the reopening of over 80 cinemas across the UK from today, Friday 31st July.
For Avison Young’s Facilities Management Team this has involved establishing a revised remedial regime and re-invigorating all planned maintenance, along with the co-ordination of an extensive supply chain over a very concentrated period of time.
For many, the experience of the big screen is one has been greatly missed over the last five months. Cineworld have put in place extensive safety measures and are ready to open their doors from today.
