Funding secured for new Westgate Hotel in Cardiff
01 May 2019We are delighted to announce that the former Post Office and Inland Revenue building on Westgate Street, Cardiff is to be transformed into a luxury hotel.
The hotel will be developed by the Welsh Rugby Union and Rightacres Property with funding provided by Legal & General.
Located next to the Principality Stadium the 165 bedrooms hotel will include 15 VIP suites, two restaurants, a rooftop spa with an outside Jacuzzi and a 400 person capacity ballroom. This will continue the regeneration of Central Square.
Rightacres Property is one of Wales’ leading commercial property groups with property development expertise in offices, business parks, hotels and industrial estates. They have been instrumental in the regeneration of Central Square, Cardiff.
