Proposed Hotel Development
Consultation Start Date: 17th December 2021
Avison Young, acting on behalf of Vastint Hospitality B.V., hereby give notice of the intention to apply for full planning permission for a hotel development on land (Plot No.9) at Central Quay (former Brains Brewery Site), Crawshay Street, Butetown, Cardiff, CF10 5DS, to provide a 228-bed hotel (Use Class C1) across seven floors, together with associated vehicular and pedestrian access, cycle parking, refuse storage, hard and soft landscaping (including green roof), drainage, and other ancillary works.
Formal pre-application consultation (PAC) on this draft application commenced on 17th December 2021 and will end on 14th January 2022.
Copies of the draft planning application documents and drawings in connection with these proposals are available to view online here by using the hyperlinks below. During this period you are provided with the opportunity to comment directly on the draft application prior to its submission to the City and County of Cardiff Council as the local planning authority (LPA).
The subsequent planning application will be publicised by the LPA and any comments provided in response to the consultation exercise on this draft application will not prejudice your ability to make representations to the LPA on the related full application. Please note that any comments submitted may be placed on the public file.
