Former Lidl, Priory Street, Carmarthen, SA31 1LS
Proposed Residential Redevelopment

Consultation Start Date: 23 November 2021

Avison Young, acting on behalf of Wales & West Housing Association, hereby give notice of the intention to apply for full planning permission from Carmarthenshire County Council for the residential redevelopment of the land occupied by the former Lidl foodstore, together with associated parking, landscaping and ancillary infrastructure.

The site is located to the southeast of Priory Street and is broadly rectangular in form, sloping gradually from northwest to southeast. The site is occupied by the former Lidl foodstore, which is a single storey slate roofed building of no particularly architectural or historic merit, and its car park.

It is proposed to redevelop the site for residential purposes, comprising a total of 47 no. apartments set within 4 no. separate buildings; three of which would be three storeys and the remaining building (adjacent to the site’s western boundary) would be single storey.

All of the draft documents and drawings prepared in connection with the proposals can be viewed using the hyperlinks included below.
