Tom Bruister is a Principal and Senior Director of Occupier Services at Avison Young, based in the firm’s San Francisco office. In his role, Tom leads business development strategy across North America, supporting complex, multi-market, multi-service line occupier pursuits in close collaboration with Avison Young’s sales teams in the U.S. and Canada.

With over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, Tom brings a diverse and holistic background spanning service, technology, and occupier perspectives. Prior to joining Avison Young, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at LiquidSpace, a global technology platform for flexible office solutions and hybrid workplace management. He also held leadership roles at JLL and WeWork, where he advised large enterprise clients on transaction management strategies.

Tom’s well-rounded experience includes both leading real estate functions on the occupier side and advising as a service provider, giving him a unique vantage point on the evolving needs of modern organizations. His expertise spans strategic advisory, revenue growth, and real estate optimization across a wide range of industries and geographies.
