He has also worked recently for South Somerset District Council, in part on the Somerset OPE program, and also providing multi-disciplinary property advice. Prior to Plymouth, he worked for North Devon District Council and Blaenau Gwent County Council. He was also a Director at BNP Paribas Real Estate, where he set up and led the South West and South Wales Public Sector Consulting team, as well as an Associate with Donaldsons in their London and Bristol offices, where he previously worked with Laura.
Laura Stamboulieh said: “Peter joins us at an important stage in the growth of GVA’s Strategic Advisory platform, and brings important first-hand experience of local authorities, one of the six core sectors the team advises. The commercial expertise that Peter has accumulated from his private sector experience will also be invaluable to our public sector clients. In addition to his insight into local authorities, he also has an excellent understanding of the wider public sector, especially health, and we look forward to working with him.
