Avison Young announces appointment by charity Sue Ryder 24 July 2023

Avison Young today announces that it has been appointed by UK charity Sue Ryder as co-supplier to undertake its property work in the UK. Working in partnership, Avison Young will bring its expertise in agency and transactional, professional and building services, allowing Sue Ryder to maximise the value of its portfolio.

Sue Ryder, the national healthcare charity has over 400 shops in high streets across the UK in addition to healthcare settings and offices. 

The charity operates a network of hospices, palliative care hubs and community-based end-of-life care services across England, in addition to a range of bereavement services which are predominantly based online.

As part of a three-year contract, Avison Young will provide multiple services to help manage Sue Ryder’s estate effectively, covering the charity’s retail stores, healthcare settings and offices. As part of the appointment Avison Young will assist Sue Ryder in rent reviews, dilapidation surveys, lease renewals, disposals and in acquiring new stores at strategic locations. The team’s extensive market knowledge and network will be instrumental in identifying and securing these retail spaces.
