Avison Young welcomes new starters to its Bristol office

04 December 2019

Real estate firm Avison Young has welcomed a host of new starters to its Bristol office.

As part of its drive for business growth following the merger of GVA with Avison Young earlier in the year, the new appointments are spread across the company’s multi-discipline teams.

Nicole Kruger joins Avison Young’s Health team from NHS Wales. Nicole is in fact making a return to Avison Young as she first worked as a Graduate Surveyor in the firm’s Cardiff office ten years ago.

Within the Industrial team, Surveyor James Short is the newest member, having previously worked with Colliers International where he gained his APC qualifications.

William Shortall is a graduate surveyor within the Land and Development team, while Sophie Endacott joins as a Senior Surveyor specialising in lease consultancy.

Henry Kirkwood is a Graduate Building Surveyor and is undertaking a Post Graduate course in Building Surveying at UWE, and in the Planning, Development and Regeneration team, Elliot Kelly and Sharmaine Katerere have both joined as Graduate Planners. Elliot was previously with North Somerset Council, and Sharmaine recently completing a Masters Degree in Property Development and Planning.

Rebecca Rigg is a chartered surveyor and registered valuer, within the Valuation Consultancy team, having previously been with ASH chartered surveyors.

Finally, Helen Whitesmith has joined Avison Young in Bristol as CRM Success Manager.

Gordon Isgrove, Managing Director at Avison Young in Bristol says, “It’s a real pleasure to welcome such a strong cohort of young professionals to Avison Young. We are a people-driven business and continue to invest in our people, creating an environment that allows individuals to develop, progress and move up through the business.”
