SA Brain appoints Avison Young to market portfolio of pubs in Wales
04 March 2020Avison Young has been engaged by Cardiff brewer SA Brain to market 40 pubs within its retail estate.
The sale comes as Brains announces a three-year plan to significantly grow the profitability of its business and to future-proof it for the benefit of generations to come.
The package of pubs, both Managed and Partnership – have been identified as not core to the Brains business, and Avison Young will be looking to sell them over the coming months.
Peter Constantine, Principal and Managing Director of Avison Young in Cardiff, says, “We’re looking to keep as many of the outlets as we can within one portfolio. As the pubs cover a range of trading styles, situated across Wales, this presents a rare opportunity for an operator to acquire a unique collection of licensed premises.”
