Suffolk’s Ufford Park Hotel Golf & Spa changes hands after 30 years
Award-winning Ufford Park Hotel, set in 119 acres of historic parkland, has been sold by the Aldous Family to LQ Resorts, which is owned by the Bansal Family.
Strategic real estate advisor Avison Young represented LQ Resorts, while The Aldous Family was represented by HMH Golf & Leisure and Savills.
Benefitting from a total of 90 bedrooms, the complex encompasses a restaurant and bar, conference and function rooms, a spa and health club, as well as an 18-hole golf course.
The hotel has been sold as an operating business in its entirety to the Bansal Family who already own the prestigious and successful Lion Quays Resort in Oswestry, Shropshire and Langstone Quays Resort on Hayling Island, Portsmouth - making Ufford Park Hotel Golf & Spa their third purchase since 2015 and their first with a golf course.
