Eric Stone serves as Principal and Managing Director for the New Jersey offices of Avison Young. Eric’s primary role is in delivering exceptional real estate services for the firm's clients throughout New Jersey. His expertise centers on brokerage and property management operations, ensuring that Avison Young's clients receive top-tier service and support in navigating the complex real estate landscape.

With a career spanning over 30 years in commercial real estate, Eric brings a wealth of experience to his role. He has worked with various institutional and third-party management firms, where he has been instrumental in leading and overseeing property management and brokerage operations across the Northeast region. His prior role as Regional Director of Real Estate Management Services involved managing Avison Young’s Real Estate Management Services portfolio throughout the Northeast, where he played a key role in driving the firm's regional strategies, service delivery and new business development.

Before joining Avison Young, Eric provided oversight of an extensive real estate portfolio totaling 23 million square feet of office, industrial, retail and healthcare properties. This portfolio covered a broad geographic area, including New Jersey, Fairfield and Westchester Counties, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh. Eric also formerly served as Asset Manager to the countries largest retailer where he was responsible for two regional shopping centers totaling more than 2.6mm SF in the northern New Jersey market.

Eric is engaged in philanthropic and community-based initiatives having served on various boards and committees including March of Dimes, New Jersey Organization for Americans with Disabilities, publicly elected official to the Livingston Business Improvement District and publicly elected three terms to the Board of Education.

Eric Stone's extensive background and proven track record in commercial real estate make him an asset to Avison Young where he continues to drive success in partnership with its employees and select clientele.
