Gary Jones is a Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer in Avison Young’s Valuation Advisory team, based in Liverpool. With over 25 years of industry experience spanning both public and private sectors, Gary brings a broad skillset across acquisition, disposal, development, valuation, asset management, landlord and tenant matters, and business rates.

He currently supports a wide range of North West clients, including Liverpool City Council, delivering practical, value-driven advice tailored to their strategic goals. Prior to joining Avison Young, Gary held senior roles at the Office of Government Property, the Valuation Office Agency, and in property fund management - where he acquired valuable experience enabling him to consistently deliver effective asset strategies.

Gary is recognised for his collaborative, solutions-focused approach, using his deep technical knowledge to provide clients with clear, actionable insights that help them navigate challenges and make confident, informed decisions.
