Jean Spurlin started with Avison Young as Operations Manager for US Property Management in April 2025. In this role she is responsible for the national operations platform for Real Estate Management Services (“REMS”). This includes collaborating with the REMS managing directors, market leaders, managers, property accounting, IT and HR to bring streamline processes and ensure efficiencies across the platform. Jean has a career that spans nearly 20 years in the commercial real estate industry with a focus on process improvement and creating efficiencies for property teams. Prior to joining Avison Young, Jean started her commercial real estate career with Lincoln Property Company developing her operations skill set. Transitioning to CBRE in 2013 as an Operations Analyst for Property Management, focusing on support for Arizona, Albuquerque, Salt Lake City, & Las Vegas markets. Ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures, training initiatives, business line onboarding as well as market financial reviews and KPI engagement. In 2017, she was promoted to a national team as Operations Manager for their Operational Excellence team. Focusing on delivery of sustainable operational excellence for all US markets to ensure compliance with goal of mitigation of risk. Jean developed enhanced KPI compliance measurements that were created based on process improvements, her thought leadership, and partnering with platform leadership teams.
