Stefan is a Vice President at Avison Young with an extensive track record of advising office occupiers and developing real estate strategies.  Stefan brings unparallelled market knowledge within the Chicago area and brings a dynamic background and a passion for helping clients make informed real estate decisions.  Bringing a client-first mindset to each engagement, Stefan’s strategic mindset helps guide companies through complex leasing decisions to align real estate strategy with business objectives.  By connecting with office tenants to acutely understand ongoing tenant movement throughout Chicago, Stefan leads the business development platform for his team.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Stefan served as a Senior Associate at JLL, where he specialized in tenant representation for office users across the greater Chicagoland area ranging from startups to established corporations.  Stefan also held key roles at Advocate Commercial Real Estate Advisors, including Director of Business Development and Client Relationship Manager, where he was instrumental in growing the firm’s presence and strengthening client partnerships.

A Chicagoland native, Stefan grew up in Hinsdale and has always had a strong connection to the city and its surrounding communities. He graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Sociology and was a proud member of the varsity football team. His academic background, combined with the discipline and teamwork developed through athletics, continues to influence his approach to real estate—grounded in collaboration, resilience, and a deep understanding of people and organizations.
