Angus is part of the London Business Rates team. He has gained a full range of experience in all areas of business rates surveying and largely focusses on bulk class appeal and strategic advisory work, predominately for private and institutional clients. Angus has worked to negotiate settlements with the Valuation Office Agency, particularly focussing on Compiled List Rateable Value negotiations and Material Change of Circumstance disputes to achieve rates savings.  

Angus is heavily involved with clients specialising in property development, working on schemes which include Kings Cross and Brent Cross. These require substantial rates budget advice to allow for accurate financial forecasting and proactive, prior engagement with the Valuation Office Agency to secure fair levels of Rateable Value from initial assessment.
