Jonathan is a Principal and Head of Avison Young’s London and South East Rating team. He is an experienced Chartered Surveyor and specialist in providing strategic business rates advice to occupiers, investors developers and owners of real estate.

Over the last 15 years Jonathan has led national mandates on behalf of several the firms’ major and complex clients including Argent, Blackrock, DLA Piper, Norton Rose, Pinsent Masons, Skanska PLC, The Office Group (FORA) and WeWork.

Jonathan is an expert in the valuation of offices with a strong focus on the Central London office market. He has been responsible for agreeing several schemes of valuations across numerous London submarkets. In addition to the main bulk classes, he also has experience advising across several specialist asset classes including Education, Research & Development (including Life Sciences) and Law Courts.
