Accountable by design
We deliver proof not promises
Transparency and accountability guide everything we do. Our Environmental Management System is ISO 14001 certified, and our carbon footprint is independently assured to ISO 14064, including our Annual Global Day of Giving. We hold a CDP Climate Score of C, which reflects our commitment to consistent disclosure and climate accountability. We also work on a global scale through partnerships such as our collaboration with the World Economic Forum to embed social value in urban regeneration. Real progress depends on being open about where we are today, and our ambitions for the future. This is the standard we set for ourselves.
Protecting our planet
We belive change should be built-in
We're dedicated to lasting change for our planet. Since 2019, we've eliminated company vehicles, cut building electricity emissions by 22%, and reduced business travel by 51% whilst expanding our sustainability services. We're ISO14001-certified and 70% of our UK offices run on renewable energy. We invest in continuous training and work with organisations like the UK Green Building Council because sustainability must be integral to how we advise and deliver. Our Net Zero 2030 commitment drives us forward, but we know there's much more to do. That's why we've created a connected approach: designed, funded, delivered, managed, and maintained - giving you a complete pathway from ambition to measurable results. We break decarbonisation down into manageable phases. Our method has helped clients in a range of sectors including logistics, retail and education, achieve significant carbon reductions whilst maintaining operations. Charity and community
We're rooted in responsibility
We focus on supporting the communities we work in and look for practical ways to make a positive contribution. Through our National Charity Committee, we bring teams together to fundraise and volunteer with local charities and community groups, from gardening and tree planting to education programmes and community improvement projects. In 2019, we launched the Avison Young Employee Community Fund to help colleagues back initiatives that matter to them locally. Alongside this, we continue our long‑standing support for LandAid, since 2009, and its mission to tackle youth homelessness. Every colleague is encouraged to get involved, recognising that meaningful progress is built through shared effort.
