Alan is a Director in Avison Young's Energy and Natural Resources team with a strong background in the energy and utilities sectors, employing a broad range of experience from the perspective of both the client and the consultant. He specialises in infrastructure, grid, nuclear and battery storage, advising developers and landowners on land acquisition/disposal, leasing and land rights for operational facilities, new development and associated infrastructure. Alan focuses on helping clients de-risk projects, unlock value from existing assets, and build sustainable long-term stakeholder relationships. Alan has represented clients in DCO Examination hearings dealing with Land and Compulsory Purchase, Engineering as well as other Issue Specific Hearings.
