Steve Robb joined Avison Young’s Planning, Development and Regeneration team in August 2006 as a Planning Researcher. He has since been promoted to Senior, Principal, Associate Director and now Director, within the team.

Steve has extensive experience acting for a range of clients promoting mixed-use development proposals across Scotland and within a range of local authorities in England. This includes involvement in projects from the feasibility stage and development plan promotions, through to the collation and submission of complex planning applications, involving the management of multi-disciplinary teams. He has also undertaken work in Northern Ireland, on behalf of local authorities and private sector clients.

This experience has involved, amongst others, a particular focus on retail-led developments, involving the preparation of retail impact assessments, critiques of competing retail schemes, the completion of local authority retail capacity studies and research into key trends affecting the sector.
